Clumsy Bodies  are a LGBTQIA, disabled-led collective that want to shatter gender like glass, to float in the deluge that arrives after.

We work primarily in theatre, poetry, and film.

Jess and Oli are both currently being mentored by the Young Vic as directors.

Oli Isaac Smith is a writer, filmmaker and theatre director. Oli’s most recent documentary Asexual was screened at several LGBTQIA festivals internationally including in Spain, Mexico, Chile, Paraguay and Switzerland, and more recently at Queerly Beloved Festival in London. They were part of the Writing Room ‘18 and performed at Crystal Palace Festival. They are currently in the Roundhouse Poetry Collective and an Almeida Young Producer.

Jess Rahman-González is a poet, artist, and theatre-maker. Jess was selected as part of Apples and Snakes’ Writing Room ‘17, and is currently part of the Roundhouse Poetry Collective. Jess is also a photographer whose photographs have been published in the Metro, gal-dem, and Banshee.
